Forbes’ List of The Top 10 Overpaid Hollywood Actors

Forbes has released its annual list of Hollywood’s most overpaid actors and actresses. The results are based on the last three movies each actor starred in. – By Will Perkins
Former “Friends” star Jennifer Aniston is having more luck with ensemble roles than starring ones. Films like “Horrible Bosses” and “We’re The Millers” have performed better than standalone Aniston vehicles like “Wanderlust.” For every $1 Aniston is paid, her movies make just $10.60.
Reynolds was slightly better than Aniston, but thanks to flops like “R.I.P.D.,” the Canadian actor didn’t have a very good 2013. Still, Reynolds fares better than most on this list: for every dollar he was paid, his movies made $10.70.
While “Bourne” star Matt Damon is still a big box office draw, his power to put butts in seats was slightly diminished in 2013, due to the disappointing showing of Neill Blomkamp’s sci-fi flick “Elysium.” Studios made $10.60 for every $1 they paid Damon.
With hits like “Date Night” and “Crazy Stupid Love” and Steve Carell has been one of Hollywood’s most reliable actors. However, the huge failure of “The Incredible Burt Wonderstone” put a damper on Carell’s sterling fortunes: Currently, Carell’s movies make $10 for every $1 he’s paid.
